Where we work
McMinnville is the county seat, and it is about twenty minutes down 99W from us. Far enough that we will tell you honestly when we can get there, close enough that we are there a lot.
McMinnville is the county seat and roughly twenty minutes from our shop in Dundee — worth saying plainly, because a contractor who implies he is around the corner from everywhere is a contractor who is going to be late somewhere. We are not next door; we are close enough to be on your job on a normal schedule and to give you a real date rather than an optimistic one. We did two jobs on one street here. The first was front-yard flatwork on an older house: we stripped the turf out with a machine, formed and reinforced a walkway from the street to the porch, an apron alongside it and a run along the property edge, and poured the lot in one go. The second was a full driveway slab beside a two-car garage, cut and prepped, poured, finished and sealed with cure the same day. Both are the ordinary McMinnville job and both are photographed below. Beyond those, what we get called for here is broader than in the smaller towns. New construction on the edges means footings, stem walls and slab-on-grade for houses, garages and shops, usually to a builder’s schedule with a framing crew already booked. The older parts of town mean the opposite job: replacing flatwork that has outlived its base, and fixing drainage on properties where the grade was set before anyone thought hard about where the water went. There is also real commercial and light-industrial work here — approaches, sidewalks, dumpster and equipment pads, and slabs for shops and warehouses. That is work with a written spec and an inspector rather than a preference, and it is a discipline a lot of residential crews are not set up for. We are, and we will tell you quickly whether a given job suits a company our size.
What we do here

Footings, stem walls and slab-on-grade for houses, additions, shops and outbuildings — dug, formed, poured and finished by one crew, on the framer's schedule.

Site cuts, grading, base rock and compaction, with our own machines and operators. This is the half of a concrete job most concrete companies hand to somebody else.

Public and commercial flatwork poured to a written spec, with the street kept open and the business kept trading. There is an inspector, a submittal and a traffic plan, and most residential concrete crews are not set up for any of the three.
